Brief History
The Choiseul Branch library first began operating at the Marcus Garvey Hallon James Robert Smith Street, in the village of Choiseul. It was later moved to the first floor of the new Administration Building in the heart of the village. Clara Edgar, village clerk served as the librarian during after school hours for quite some time. Sadly, some years later the branch library operations ceased. However it was reopened in August 1989 due to residents expressing their need for the community library. Malinda Faucher became the appointed librarian at that time.
